Goalkeeper Ravi Kumar has represented a number of ISL and I-League teams across his decade-long career and was part of the Mumbai City FC squad that competed in ISL and AFC Champions League campaigns last season.
Nepalese custodian Kiran Kumar Limbu was adjudged the Best Goalkeeper of the I-League 2022-23 season for his stellar performances in between the sticks. He finished the season with 11 clean sheets and conceded just 16 goals from 21 matches. With his debut against Mohun Bagan Super Giant, he became the first and only player from Nepal to play in the ISL
Local boy Jaskaran came through the academy ranks and was an integral part of RoundGlass Punjab FC Reserves side which won the Punjab State Super Football League 2022. He made his senior team debut when he came off the bench against TRAU FC in the final game of the I-League 2022-23 season.
Homegrown keeper Ayush hails from Rishikesh in Uttarakhand. As part of the India U-16 team, he helped the team top the group to qualify for the AFC U-16 Championship back in 2019.

An acacemy graduate of Punjab FC, Abhishek was promoted to the first team before the I-League 2022-23 season. He made his mark in the league when he came off the bench to score against Sudeva Delhi FC.
Defender Nikhil Prabhu joins Punjab FC after making his Indian Super League debut last season with Odisha FC and later moved to FC Goa for the second half of the season. The ball playing defender who came up the ranks of Hyderabad FC will be vital in building up the attacks from the back for Staikos’s team.
The Thessaloniki-born defender started his youth career with Omania Stavroupolis. He started his senior career for Greek club Vataniakos and also played for Glyfada and Chania. He then moved to Panionis and later to Greek giants PAOK where he spend three seasons.
23-year-old Manipur-born Khaiminthang Lhungdim is a youth product of NEROCA FC, who made it from the Under-18s to the first team in 2019 and since then he has established himself in the first team.
Haryana born Pramveer has come through the ranks of the Punjab FC academy and he was a key part of the India U-17 team during their AFC U-17 Asia Cup 2023 campaign.

24-year-old Melroy Assisi signed for Punjab FC from I-League side Rajasthan United FC on a three- year deal. The center back was one of the standout performers for Rajasthan in the last couple of seasons.

Left-back Mohammed Salah joined Punjab FC ahead of the I-League 2022-23 season and played a key role in the club’s undefeated run to lift the trophy in the later half of the season.
Young Nitesh Darjee, on the other hand, joins Punjab FC after a strong and resilient display in the Reliance Foundation Development League where his team Sudeva Delhi FC finished runner-up in the National Championship.

Defender Nongmaikapam Suresh Meitei was a crucial part of RoundGlass Punjab FC’s defensive unit in the successful I-League 2022-23 campaign. The 29-year-old Manipuri center-back has signed a one-year contract with the club after playing 10 matches in the I-League and 3 matches in the Hero Super Cup last season.

MIDFIELDERS

Midfielder Ricky Shabong came up through the ranks of Indian Arrows and later joined Mohun Bagan Super Giant with whom he went on to lift the Indian Super League title during the 2022-23 season.
27-year-old Khungdongbam Krishnananda Singh, who was born in Heirok in Manipur, came through the local football scene. He was a crucial player for TRAU FC from 2018-21 and then spend time at Gokulam Kerala FC but quickly returned to TRAU FC.
The Paris born midfielder started his career with Angers SCO Reserves team in France and then moved to Amiens SC before joining Entente SSG for the 2018-19 season where he scored nine goals. He then went on to play for Las Rozas CF in Spain, Red Star FC and US Avranches in France before joining AE Kifisia FC in Greece.
Coming from the Punjab FC Academy, Maheson made his I-League debut during the 2021-22 season. The attacking midfielder was a key member of the India U-20 team which won the 2022 SAFF U-20 Championship.
23-year-old Samuel came through the ranks of Shillong Lajong FC and joined Punjab FC after a spectacular I-League 2022-23 season with Real Kashmir FC where he scored 6 goals to become the joint-highest Indian goal scorer of the league.

Left-footed magician, Juan Mera, was the most influential player from midfield for RoundGlass Punjab FC during their I-League winning 2022-23 season, as he was adjudged the best midfielder of the league.

Hailing from Manipur, Manglenthang Kipgen was promoted to the first team from the Punjab FC academy ahead of the I-League 2022-23 season where he featured in three matches.
23-year-old Sweden Fernandes has joined Punjab FC on a season-long loan from ISL side, Chennaiyin FC. He had played 15 matches for NEROCA FC on loan last season and scored three goals and provided one assist.
Coming from Sikkim, Ashis started his professional career with the Indian Arrows team and then later moved to ATK reserves before being promoted to the senior squad. After returning from an injury Ashis played nine matches in RoundGlass Punjab FC’s historic I-League 2022-23 season.
Kingslee Fernandes joins Punjab FC after spending the last three seasons with Goan giants Churchill Brothers Goa FC. The 25-year-old previously lifted the ISL League Shield with FC Goa during the 2019-20 season and a season before he led the reserves side of FC Goa to lift the Goa Professional League.
Leon Augustine joins Punjab FC after spending his entire career with Bengaluru FC. The 25-year-old winger joined Bengaluru FC in 2017-18 season and debuted for it in the 2018 AFC Cup. He has played a total of 40 matches for the club scoring six times.
Amarjit Singh Kiyam, captain of the Indian team at the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup, joins Punjab FC on loan from FC Goa. The versatile midfielder is known for his leadership skills and relentless energy in the middle of the park. He will play a vital role in coach Staikos Vergetis’s team.
Midfielder Isaac Vanmalsawma plays for Punjab FC and Vanmalsawma last appeared in an Indian Super League game on March 4, 2023, playing 34 minutes for Odisha FC versus Mohun Bagan Super Giant in a 2-0 loss.A home match against Jamshedpur FC on February 15 is the side’s next Indian Super League fixture for Punjab FC, who have 14 points and are in ninth place.

FORWARDS

Wilmar joins Punjab FC with a wealth of footballing experience in South America, having played in the top leagues in Colombia, Venezuela, and Brazil. He has also had stints in Europe and Asia, playing in Portugal, Bulgaria, South Korea, China, and the UAE. In his last season, the prolific striker scored eight goals for the Highlanders in just 11 matches in the ISL.
Daniel is a highly experienced forward, winning multiple trophies across his career, including the I-League with Bengaluru FC in 2016. He has featured for four different clubs in the ISL and made 24 appearances at continental level (AFC Cup) as well.
Former I-League winner with Chennai City FC, Ranjeet scored three and assisted two goals during the I-League 2022-23 season with Mumbai Kenkre FC. The striker then went on to join Church Boys United in Nepal’s A Division League and helped the club lift their maiden title with two goals.
Prasanth K. Mohan graduated from the AIFF Elite Academy and was signed by Kerala Blasters FC in the ISL. The winger remained with the Kerala side for five years before shifting to Chennaiyin FC for the 2022-23 season. He featured 15 times for the Chennai side registering a goal and an assist during the season.
Luka Majcen, who was a key member of RoundGlass Punjab FC’s I-League 2022-23 winning side, was in terrific goal-scoring form as he finished the season as the top scorer by scoring 16 goals and was also adjudged as the Hero of the League. The Slovenian forward has a knack for scoring goals and will look to carry the form in the ISL as well.
Attacker Bidyashagar Singh plays for Punjab and is yet to make his debut Santosh Trophy appearance after joining the club on January 31, 2024. Singh played six Indian Super League games last season for Kerala Blasters FC and created one assist. Singh joined Punjab in January 2024 from Punjab FC, for whom he made zero league appearances in total.
